On Ascension
Gentle curves meander
the boundless space of now,
riddled with intentional
bursts and ravines,
with the ephemera of machine,
with ultimate repose.
Winged forms rising
from the shadows
of uncertainty,
from suffocation,
from the blazing kiln
into vast reason.
With expansive, pure
flowing form and softness
they arrive. On ascension
they become. Towering
with elegance, with rawness,
with bounty soaring beyond body.
